This webinar will discuss all the resources that you need to employ to meet all your projects obligations and the techniques and the approaches to make that utilization effective.

Resources are the means we use to achieve project objectives. One of our primary resources is people. People with the applicable skills and competencies to meet the challenges of the project. When those people are improperly allocated or overworked or over-extended your project will grind to a halt.

The other category of resources project’s need to deploy include capital, facilities, equipment, material, and information. There is almost always a gap between the resources available and the project’s demands – those resources that are needed and those resources that are deployed. The project manager must deploy strategies to diminish that gap. This webinar will discuss those strategies.

To ensure a cost-effective application of required resources, the PM must perform a proper needs analysis to define the project’s goals and objectives. The project’s baselines must be determined and resourced. And those resources must be effectively monitored and controlled over the life of the project.

The WBS is the base document for determining resource requirements. The requirement specification spells out the real requirements to achieve the project’s specified result. This webinar will begin the discussion of resources at that point – the point the WBS is finalized and validated.

He has been a regulatory and management consultant and an Instructional Technologist for 30 years and has published numerous white papers on various regulatory and training subjects.
